L. Wayne Kirby Memorial Scholarship

Annual $1,000 Scholarship

The Virginia Grain Producers Association is proud to honor Wayne Kirby by naming our annual scholarships after him as a way to commemorate his lifetime of hard work and dedication to Virginia agriculture and education by offering two $1,000.00 scholarships to current or future full-time students (as of Fall 2023) at Virginia institutions of higher education. Preference will be given to agriculture students and applicants with a close relationship to the Virginia Grain Producers Association (VGPA), including members (or dependents of a member) of the VGPA, or an active employee (or dependent of an active employee), of a member of the VGPA. (Please be sure to indicate your affiliation clearly.)

Applications must be postmarked by April 28, 2023
